Catherine Parry bride Toni and husband Aaron have kindly shared the amazing pictures from their recent wedding at Titanic Hotel in Liverpool.
The couple met last March in Cardiff and began a whirlwind romance. “Aaron and I met when I went to visit a close friend in Cardiff” says Toni. “We both lived in completely different locations, me in Leamington Spa and Aaron in Cardiff.” After a brief long-distance relationship Aaron relocated to Leamington Spa last July and popped the question to Toni in the September.
“We got engaged at Heathrow Terminal 3 after I returned from a work trip to New York” Toni explains. “I got quite a shock when I came out through arrivals to be greeted by Aaron on one knee with a beautiful sapphire blue diamond ring, I simply couldn’t refuse! We decided on a short engagement as with me being 41 and Aaron being 38 neither of us are getting any younger!”
“We got married at the amazing Titanic Hotel in Liverpool, as Im originally from Aintree and we loved it when we went there for lunch whilst visiting family. It was perfect to accommodate everything we wanted and ideally located with having family and friends from all over the place. There was a lot to do in 5 months but luckily I have a twin sister in Aintree who was on hand to help and who quickly took the role of wedding co-ordinator.”
“I am a vintage girl at heart and wanted our wedding to reflect that” says Toni. “I love old school Hollywood and all the glamour that goes with it, especially films such as The Great Gatsby, so this was what we based our theme on.”
When it came to choosing the dress Toni quickly fell head over heels with Catherine Parry’s iconic 1509. “My stunning Catherine Parry dress very much captured the classic, yet contemporary look that I love.”
“I had seen the dress in the window of The White Boutique in Leamington Spa when passing the shop one day before Aaron had popped the question, completely unaware that I’d get a marriage proposal not long after that!”
“I went to try the dress on very quickly after our engagement and I knew that was the one straight away, there was no competition. I also had a Gibson bespoke hat and gloves made to match from a photo of the dress and I accessorised it with fun quirky touches – a Kate Spade clutch and lipstick red Sophia Webster shoes.”
We adore the pictures of Toni and Aaron’s special day and on behalf of everyone at Catherine Parry we’d like to wish them every happiness in their life together.
